Deeney weighs up Blues’ extra time

Birmingham City club captain Troy Deeney is pondering whether to sign a new contract – though he does believe the Blues have a bright future.
The 34-year-old is currently sidelined with a hamstring injury, but has made more than 50 league appearances, scoring 11 goals, since joining his home-town club on a twoyear deal in August 2021.
