MATT Bloomfield was left fuming over Birmingham’s opening goal as he watched his Oxford side suffer their first defeat since he took charge.
The Oxford manager bitterly complained that the free-kick that resulted in Blues snatching the lead was not taken in the right place.
The incident occurred in the 23rd minute and led to an own goal by Myles Peart-Harris, who headed Jamie Cumming’s flapped clearance from Paik Seung-Ho’s free-kick into his own net from five yards.
