HEAD coach Valerien Ismael insists the future is bright for Blackburn Rovers despite the club missing out on the play-offs following their draw at Sheffield United.
Rovers needed a win at Bramall Lane and for other results to go their way to snatch a play-off place, and for a brief spell in the second half of this game they were actually sitting in sixth place. A 13-point haul from their previous five matches had catapulted them back into contention, and although they finished two points adrift of their target, Ismael was upbeat afterwards.
