Cardiff City’s latest defeat proved to be the last for Omer Riza, who was sacked yesterday after a 2-0 defeat to Championship promotion-chasing Sheffield United.
Goals from Gustavo Hamer and Ben Brereton Diaz handed the Blades the victory.
The Bluebirds are one point from safety and have now tasked Aaron Ramsey with taking charge for the remainder of the season.
Assisted by Chris Gunter and Joe Ralls, Ramsey’s first assignment is against Oxford United tomorrow.
