FORMER Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is backing his old club and Sheffield United to cement their places at the top of the Championship in the New Year and clinch promotion back to the Premier League.
Ahead of today’s matches, the Yorkshire pair hold the top two places with half the season gone. Third-placed Burnley, who won 2-0 at Sheffield United on Boxing Day, are just a point behind, while surprise package Sunderland are also in the race.
