Match Preview: Cardiff City v Blackburn Rovers (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

welcome Blackburn to the City Stadium on late Tuesday looking to pick up points to end their three-game losing streak.

Cardiff's struggles have left them with just three points from their last six matches, while their opponents have earned five from a possible 18.

In Samuel Szmodics, Blackburn have the league's sharpest shooter so far this season. He has notched 18 goals in 30 appearances.

His goal rate of one every 147 minutes is quicker than that of Ike Ugbo, Cardiff's top scorer with a goal every 186 minutes, and a total of seven goals in 26 games.

The last Cardiff game Doughty refereed was a 2-0 home win against United on September 30. His last Blackburn match was their 4-2 win at home against City on November 29.
