Alex Pritchard says “down-to-earth” Blues boss Tony Mowbray played a major role in his decision to ditch Sunderland for Birmingham.
The 30-year-old former Norwich midfielder has signed a two-and-a-half year deal at St Andrew’s, ending an ugly transfer stand-off with the Wearside club.
Pritchard joined Sunderland from Huddersfield in 2021 and was instrumental in the Black Cats’ promotion from League One under Alex Neil. A huge fan-favourite, he scored nine goals in 112 appearances.
