Young defender Connor O’Riordan says he is ‘absolutely buzzing’ to have joined Blackburn Rovers for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old centre back came through the ranks at hometown club Crewe and made over 50 league appearances for the Railwaymen.

His performances caught the eye and it is Rovers who won the fight for the Republic of Ireland U21 international’s signature.

He has joined on a four-and-a-half year deal that will keep him at Ewood Park until June 2028.
