Street tribute to Lions supremo

Tributes to popular former Millwall owner John Berylson have been stepped up with a road named in his honour.
The American died in a car crash in the USA in July aged 70, having been involved with the Lions since 2006.

Zampa Road, which leads up to The Den’s main entrance, will now be named John Berylson Way.

The new road sign was unveiled at the Lions’ home match again Preston yesterday by current chairman James Berylson “On behalf of my family, I would like to thank everybody who has contributed to the change of road name,” he said.
