Ismael's troops thrash Preston
Watford boss Valerien Ismael was a happy man after his troops found their shooting boots to thrash Preston 5-1 at Deepdale.
The game was 1-1 at the break, but the Hornets showed the ruthlessness that Ismael has been demanding in the second half to storm to victory.
“I'm very pleased with the performance, with the attitude,” he said. “It was a very strong away game.”
Ipswich missed the chance to go top of the Championship when they were held to a 2-2 draw in their East Anglian derby against Norwich at Portman Road.
