Luckless Bristol City midfielder Ayman Benarous has suffered yet another devastating injury setback.
Benarous, a product of the Robins’ academy, made his debut as a teenager at the start of the 2021-22 campaign and has so far amassed 11 appearances for his hometown club.

However, he hasn’t played for the Championship side since rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in April last year.

Initially slated to return within eight months, he suffered a recurrence of the injury during a straightline running exercise last December.
