MICHAEL Duff ten-man Swansea City side “gave absolutely everything” in a heroic backs-to-the-wall performance against Sunderland.
A 29th-minute red card for midfielder Charlie Patino, who earned a second yellow for a foul on Pierre Ekwah, forced the Swans to launch a grim defensive operation.
Despite a second-half Sunderland onslaught, the hosts kept the ball out of their net to earn a gritty point. And it might have been more for the hosts had striker Jamal Lowe not seen his penalty saved on the stroke of half-time.
