Stalwart Joe Ralls on Cardiff City's new era

“We just missed each other the first time round,” said Ralls, who joined the Bluebirds from Farnborough in 2009, a year after Ramsey had completed a £5m move to Arsenal.
“But we’ve always had a lot of mutual friends, so I kind of knew of him and about him before he came back. Everybody said he was a real top lad, and they were right - he’s been brilliant.” Ramsey’s return to South Wales, after 15 years at the pinnacle of the game with Arsenal, Juventus, Nice and Wales, has so far proved anything but a sentimental last hurrah.
