Winger Ryan Fraser signed for Southampton on a season-long loan from Newcastle – and immediately set his sights on promotion.
Capped 26 times by Scotland, the 29-year-old brings a wealth of experience with him, having made more than 300 senior appearances at club level across spells with Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Ipswich (loan) and Newcastle.
However, his chances were limited at Eddie Howe’s Magpies this term, so he was only too willing to swap the north-east for the south coast.
