POTTERS PROJECT EXCITES HUNGRY BURGER

MIDFIELDER Wouter Burger is relishing his ‘new journey’ having joined Stoke City from FC Basel. The 22-year-old former Holland U21 international has joined the Potters for an undisclosed fee and has penned a fouryear contract.
His arrival at the bet365 Stadium follows a two-year stay in Switzerland. Before that, he played for Feyenoord, Excelsior (loan) and Sparta Rotterdam (loan) in his homeland.
