NFL legend inspires Blues on special day

Former NFL star Tom Brady inspired Birmingham City to a last-gasp victory over Leeds on his first visit since becoming a minority owner.

Lukas Jutkiewicz netted a late penalty as the Blues beat Leeds 1-0, on a day when they also celebrated the life of the late, great Trevor Francis.

“Tom spoke to the group before our meeting today, so that is great to have one of the most famous sporting people in the world come down and chat to the group,” said delighted Birmingham manager John Eustace.

“They were all very excited to listen to him and he gave us some real good words of advice.

“We dedicate that winner to Trevor Francis and his family. It marked a real special occasion.”
