Veteran boss off to a flyer

Veteran boss Neil Warnock couldn’t hide his delight after kicking off his return to management with a victory.
The 74-year-old’s Huddersfield team came from behind to beat Birmingham 2-1 and boosted their chances of staying in the Championship in the process.
Warnock, who had come out of retirement to take charge of the Terriers, said: “We’ve got an outside chance of staying up when you look at the tough fixtures, but we’ ll give it a go and I said to the lads that whatever happens I want to enjoy myself. I want the fans to go home happy, I want you lot to go home happy.
“And the fans, to stay behind like they did after that – that was a bit emotional walking around the pitch (at the end of the game).”
