BIG BLOW: Emil Riis faces a lengthy spell on sidelines

PRESTON have moved quickly to fill the void left by injured hitman Emil Riis by signing a duo of Premier League strikers.
Riis, 24, will miss the rest of the season after a collision with advertising hoardings during the victory at Stoke two weeks ago ruptured his knee ligaments.
The Dane was Preston’s top scorer last season and had scored five goals in 24 outings this term.
