NEIL Critchley is the hot favourite to land the vacant QPR post following the shock departure of Mick Beale to Rangers.
Beale, 42, joined the Scottish giants on Monday, just six weeks after rejecting Wolves and pledging his loyalty to the Hoops.
Unusually, a statement released by QPR did not thank Beale for his efforts, with chairman Amit Bhatia subsequently liking a social media post that blasted the outgoing manager’s conduct.
