Carrick’s Boro snap up Danks

Middlesbrough boss Michael Carrick has strengthened his first team coaching staff by bringing in Aaron Danks.
The 39-year-old has worked with Anderlecht, the English national team and, most recently, Aston Villa where he was assistant to both Dean Smith and Steven Gerrard.
Danks started his coaching career with West Bromwich Albion’s Academy.
He moved to the FA where he worked with the national team at various levels including England U20s when they won the World Cup in 2017 and the U21s in 2020- 21.
