Hull City’s search for a new manager will stretch into a third week with caretaker Andy Dawson set to be given the next three games to press his credentials.
Club legend Dawson, 43, took charge following the dismissal of Shota Arveladze two weeks ago and has taken three points from three games.
Tigers chairman Acun Ilicali initially hoped to appoint former Olympiacos boss Pedro Martins, but when talks with the Portuguese broke down ten days ago, Dawson was asked to remain in post for “the foreseeable future”.
