WINNER: Michael Carrick FORMER Manchester United and England midfielder Michael Carrick has emerged as the favourite to take the reins at Middlesbrough. Boro sacked Chris Wilder last Monday after 11 months in charge following a poor start to the season which left them in the relegation zone.
