Paul Ince says Andy Carroll will bring “power and presence” to his forward line following the veteran striker’s return to Reading.
Former Liverpool and England striker Carroll, 33, scored two goals in eight games for the Royals last season and became a hugely popular figure on the terraces after joining on a short-term deal worth just £1,000-a-week.
However, Reading’s financial problems meant they were unable to offer an improved deal in January and Carroll subsequently joined West Brom.
