IMPRESSIVE: Matt Clarke on loan at West Brom last term

Middlesbrough new-boy Matt Clarke has promised to bring “pride and honesty” to the Riverside after completing a £2.5m switch to Teesside from Brighton.
The 25-year-old centre-back became Graham Potter’s first signing as Brighton manager when he joined the Seagulls from Portsmouth for a £3m fee in June 2019.
But he never played a game for the Premier League side and has spent the last three seasons out on loan at Derby County and then West Brom, where he won the club’s player of the year award last term.
