NEW ROLE: Goalkeeper Rob Elliott has joined Gateshead after leaving Watford in the summer

FORMER Newcastle United, Charlton Athletic and Watford goalkeeper Rob Elliot is relishing his new role at Gateshead after being named as the National League club’s first ever technical director.
The Republic of Ireland stopper has been lured to the National League club by former Magpies team-mate and current Heed player-manager Mike Williamson.
