WIGAN Athletic have signed Watford striker Ashley Fletcher on a season-long loan deal. The 26-year-old joined the Hornets on a free transfer from Middlesbrough last summer but has only made three league appearances for the club. Fletcher, 26, is a Manchester United Academy graduate who has previously had spells with the likes of Barnsley, West Ham United, Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Watford and MLS side New York Red Bulls last season, playing just short of 200 career senior matches.
