SWANSEA midfielder Flynn Downes admits he is still short of match sharpness, but is hoping to kick on between now and the end of the season. The 23-year-old made his first appearance since victory over rivals Cardiff in Easter Monday’s thrilling 4-4 draw at Reading.Downes has been suffering with a knee injury since the start of the month, but was able to get 60 minutes in the tank against the Royals.He said: “I felt good, a little bit unfit if I’m honest, but my knee felt good so, hopefully, I can keep going now and get the match fitness back....
