DAN Ballard was “over the moon” after returning to the Millwall starting line-up following a lengthy period on the sidelines.The 22-year-old on-loan Arsenal defender, who has also had temporary stays at Swindon and Blackpool, had knee surgery in December and faced a period of rehabilitation.Ballard made his first outing since late November off the bench in the win over Sheffield United, coming on as a sub, before starting the victory at Reading.He said: “I have put a lot of hard work in so to get back out there with the fans was amazing.”
