BLACKBURN Rovers have been rocked by the news that top scorer Ben Brereton Diaz will be out “for a period of time”.
The 22-year-old has scored 20 goals in 32 games and is second only to Fulham hotshot Aleksandar Mitro- vic in the Championship scoring charts.
Having spent time away with Chile during the recent international break, Rovers boss Tony Mowbray was banking on the striker to help re-verse a slump that saw Rovers win just two of their last eight matches ahead of the weekend.
