POYA ON PROWL TO PEP UP HIS TYKES…

BARNSLEY head coach Poya Asbaghi has denied that he must sell before he can buy this window and is still hoping to get a couple of deals over the line.
The Tykes started the weekend bottom of the Championship table and eight points from safety.
Their 16 goals were comfortably the lowest in the division and Asbaghi has previously spoken about the need to bring players in this month if they are to survive.
However, speculation has so far surrounded potential departures rather than arrivals, with 26-year-old striker Obbi Oulare rumoured to be heading for the exit.
