RED-HOT Fulham were at it again on Tuesday night with a 6-2 win over Birmingham as they became the first team since Chester City in the 1933-34 season to score six or more goals in three consecutive games.
The ruthless Cottagers took the lead after ten minutes when Birmingham defender Marc Roberts put through his own net attempting to clear Harry Wilson’s cross.
Goals from Neeskens Kebano, Fabio Carvalho and Tom Cairney in an eight- minute spell had Fulham 4-0 up heading into first-half stoppage time when Ivan Sunjic cut the lead.
Gary Gardner reduced the deficit further after 74 minutes when his pinpoint drive into the bottom corner from distance made it 4-2, but this did not last long as Carvalho cut onto his right foot and curled home a minute later.
Antonee Robinson capped the win with a fine finish from the edge of the box, overshadowed by an even more impressive display of acrobatics for his celebration.

Preston performed an impressive comeback to salvage a late point in their 2-2 draw with Sheffield United.
Jayden Bogle scored and Andy Hughes saw red to let Billy Sharp score from the spot in the first-half to give the Blades a seemingly unassailable lead.
But Alan Browne scored from close range and Emil Riis Jakobsen tucked home at the back post in the 89th minute to earn Ryan Lowe’s men a gutsy point.

League One
Cole Stockton’s 16th league goal of the season gave Morecambe an early lead against Wigan, but goals from Will Keane and Stephen Humphrys either side of half-time elevated the Latics into an automatic promotion spot with a 2-1 win. The win means the Latics are now unbeaten in 16 matches.

Doncaster remain bottom after a 3-1 loss at Cambridge. Harvey Knibbs got the opener for the hosts after finishing off a clinical counter-attack and Harrison Dunk scored his first goal for 140 matches to make it 2-0. Joe Dodoo halved the lead before Sam Smith made the points safe in the third minute of stoppage time.
AFC Wimbledon and Portsmouth played out a goalless draw.
League Two
Will Randall scored in the 92nd minute to send Sutton third in League Two with a 3-2 win over Colchester.
Owura Edwards wrongfooted Dean Bouzanis after three minutes, but Sutton did not take long to strike back when Isaac Olaofe equalised before ten minutes were on the clock.
Freddie Sears restored Colchester’s lead from the spot before half-time, but Olaofe once again levelled it up just after the hour mark, before Randall won it at the death for the hosts.
Port Vale lost their third match in a row as Tom Elliott’s goal gave Salford a 1-0 win, where the main drama was a tractor being used to fix the goalpost after Vale’s Connor Hall had collided with it.
Paul Tisdale’s improving Stevenage beat Crawley 2-1 to move eight points clear of relegation.
Jake Taylor converted a cross to give Boro the lead. Tom Nichols levelled the game up in first-half stoppage time, but Luke Norris got the winner off the bench.
Carlisle also moved themselves eight points clear of the drop with a 0-0 draw at home to Hartlepool.
Leaders Forest Green took on Mansfield at the New Lawn, but the game was abandoned due to heavy fog in Gloucestershire after only four minutes of football were played.
