KEEPER PEARS BACKED BY BOSS TONY…

BLACKBURN boss Tony Mowbray is confident Aynsley Pears will bounce back quickly from the FA Cup derby defeat to Wigan.
The 23-year-old former Middlesbrough goalkeeper carried Jack Whatmough’s header over the line for the Latics’ second goal as the hosts went on to edge a 3-2 win at the DW Stadium.
Mowbray said: “Unfortunately Aynsley made some pretty elementary errors and it cost us some goals and it was a difficult day for him.
“He’ll be hurting, but it’s important for him to get back to training and do what he usually does – working very hard.
