BOURNEMOUTH defender Adam Smith is making steady progress in his recovery from surgery, but still remains a number of weeks away, manager Scott Parker has confirmed.
Smith’s only outing since October came at Fulham on December 3 and the 30-year-old underwent an operation before Christmas after suffering a recurrence of a knee injury.
Parker revealed that the long-serving full-back was on the comeback trail. He said: “Adam Smith is progressing in the right way and pushing on, but it will be a good few weeks before we see him back.”
