BOWYER’S HOPEFUL FOR TAHITH

BIRMINGHAM boss Lee Bowyer hopes on-loan winger Tahith Chong could return before the end of the season.
Chong, 22, has been back at Manchester United receiving treatment since suffering a groin injury in early November.
But Bowyer is hopeful he can return to the Blues’ line-up before the end of his loan, saying: “He was at our game (against Cardiff), so it was good to see him around.
“He is ahead of schedule which is good.
“Fingers crossed that we see him at some stage before the end of the season.”
