TEENAGER Jordan James “has been as good as gold” since training with Birmingham’s senior squad, according to boss Lee Bowyer.
A lengthy injury list has offered the 17-yearold a first-team chance, with the midfielder coming on as a second-half substitute against Hull and Coventry.
Bowyer reckons James has grasped it with both hands and said: “There were a couple of young lads who were ahead of Jordan James from the Under-23s, but because of injuries he got his chance.
