MANAGER SILVA IS KEEN TO PROTECT PLAYERS

FULHAM manager Marco Silva believes more needs to be done to protect players against the rigors of the Championship schedule.
Three games in a week are commonplace in the 46-game EFL season and the Portuguese questioned matches being scheduled early on the Saturday following a midweek round of fixtures on the Wednesday.
