O’NEILL: BROWN JUSTIFIES SCOTS CALL-UP

STOKE manager Michael O’Neill believes Jacob Brown’s international call-up to the Scotland squad “shows the progress” the forward has made.
Brown earned his first call-up as Steve Clarke’s side prepare to face Moldova and Denmark in their upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The 23-year-old forward joined Stoke from Barnsley in the summer of 2020 and has played regular first-team football this season.
O’Neill said: “It’s great for Jacob and I think it shows the progress he has made since he came to the club.
