LUTON boss Nathan Jones has praised Allan Campbell following his “miraculous” recovery from an ankle injury.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who joined the Hatters from Motherwell in June for an undisclosed fee, has been out for a month with the problem, but made his return in a development squad match in midweek.
Jones said: “He’s been nothing short of miraculous in terms of how quickly he’s got back, but that’s desire from the boy.
“At times, when we’re holding him back, he’s said ‘I’ve played on my ankle when it’s worse than this’.
“That’s the type he is.”
