PRESTON boss Frankie McAvoy hopes to have striker Ched Evans available again before the end of the month.
The 32-year-old has not played since the 1-0 defeat at Hull in mid-August, having had a period of self-isolation due to Covid-19 and then suffering a calf injury.
But the forward is on the comeback trail and McAvoy anticipates having him available for selection again soon.
Speaking ahead of Preston’s clash with Stoke, McAvoy said: “Ched will hopefully be ready during the international break and we can get him back training.”
