FLEMING ECSTATIC TO STAY AT CITY…

CURTIS Fleming is excited to continue working closely with manager Nigel Pearson after being appointed assistant manager at Bristol City.
Fleming arrived at Ashton Gate in July to cover the absence of Paul Simpson, who was receiving treatment for renal cell carcinoma.
Simpson has now returned and his role, and that of Keith Downing, has been retitled as firstteam coach.
Fleming said: “Everybody has been so welcoming since I arrived and I’ve enjoyed every minute so I’m very excited to continue working as assistant manager.
