McCANN’S SWEET ON HIS HONEY

HULL City boss Grant McCann is delighted to have “winner” George Honeyman back at his disposal.
The 27-year-old midfielder made his first appearance since May as a sub in the Tigers’ 3-1 loss to Sheffield United, playing 45 minutes.
Honeyman was the club’s player of the season last term and McCann said: “It’s brilliant to have him back.
“To have a winner back in the dressing room, and someone who likes to play on the edge, is going to be huge for us.
“He’s a massive player for us. I thought he made a massive impact.”
