BIRMINGHAM head coach Lee Bowyer has praised Ryan Woods following an impressive start to his Blues career.
The 27-year-old midfielder joined the club this summer on a free transfer from Millwall and had started every game heading into yesterday’s clash at Peterborough.
“We knew of his qualities, that’s why we got him in,” Bowyer said.
“He’s very good on the ball. His fitness and the way he is winning the ball back, his sharpness – he is improving all the time.
“Ryan is another player who has bought into it.”
