McCANN’S THE PULL FOR SMITH

TYLER Smith admitted the chance to reunite with Grant McCann made moving to Hull an easy decision.
The 22-year-old striker joined the Tigers from Sheffield United on a two-year contract in the days leading up to the transfer window closing and made his debut in the goalless draw against Bournemouth.
Smith, who played under McCann during a loan spell at Doncaster in 2018-19, said: “I love him as a gaffer.
“He was a big factor in my decision to join because I know how he is and how he likes to play.
“I’m so happy that he’s brought me on board.”
