TEENAGE KICKS FOR STANSFIELD

TEENAGE Fulham forward Jay Stansfield hopes to push on with more goals after scooping an award for scoring in the club’s victory at Birmingham last month.

On his full debut for the Championship side, the 18-year-old fired home a stunning long-range effort that found the top corner in a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup – which was voted the Whites’ Goal of the Month for August.
Stansfield said: “It was brilliant, I couldn’t have asked for a better full debut.
“Starting the game and then scoring a goal like that – I can’t explain the feeling.”
