ROONEY’S RAMS CALL TIME ON TAKING A KNEE

DERBY County have decided to follow the lead of a number of other Championship clubs by stopping taking a knee before matches.
The gesture was adopted across the Premier League and EFL last June to protest against racial injustice.
However, several Championship clubs, including Brentford, Bournemouth and QPR, have since opted to stop taking a knee, fearing that the impact has now been diluted.
