NOT many sides will play as well as Middlesbrough did and lose 4-1, which is perhaps testament to just how deadly this Brentford side is.
Yes, David Raya was excellent. But the finishing of Boro’s players – particularly Britt Assombalonga and George Saville – gave him the chance to be a hero.
Thomas Frank’s side offered no such hope, finishing every clear chance with precision and composure.
That is why they are, by a distance, the Championship’s top scorers. As Frank said afterwards, they need to tighten up.
