SWANSEA head coach Steve Cooper led the tributes to the club’s honorary president Alan Curtis who has been given an MBE in the New Year Honours list.
The 66-year-old has been recognised for his services to Welsh football after more than four decades in the game during which he played for Swansea, Leeds, Southampton and Cardiff as well as having three stints as caretaker manager of the Swans.
Curtis, who scored six times in 35 games for Wales, also played a part in Cooper’s appointment as head coach in June 2019.
