WES Hoolahan insists his love of football is still as great as ever at the age of 38.
The former Norwich midfielder signed for Cambridge in the summer and has been a regular for the League Two promotion hopefuls.
Hoolahan, who has six months left on his U’s contract, says he is not thinking about hanging up his boots yet.
He said: “Since seven or eight years of age I’ve been playing football, so I still enjoy it.
“The desire is still in me, and until that desire to wake up and train or play goes, then I’ll consider the next step.”
