ASKING his captain to play on until half-time proved to be an inspired decision by Coventry City manager Mark Robins, as they picked up their first away league win of the season at Wycombe.

Liam Kelly had already given the Sky Blues the lead, with his first goal since April 2018, by the time he agreed to struggle on with the interval in sight.
He went on to grab what ultimately was the decisive goal at Adams Park right on half-time with his final act before being replaced.
