BLACKBURN boss Tony Mowbray believes Scott Wharton could be out for a while after suffering a “pretty serious” Achilles injury.The defender was taken off on a stretcher in the 2-2 draw at Brentford last weekend after tumbling in the middle of the pitch with no one around him.Wharton, 23, was seen taking his place among the subs in the second half, with the use of crutches, but Mowbray is fearing the worst.“It’s his Achilles tendon,” Mowbray said. “It’s a pretty serious injury.
